THANKS FOR MAKING THE JANUARY 30, 2010 GALT WINTER BIRD FESTIVAL A SUCCESS
On FEBRUARY 4, 2010 the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival came to Sacramento. Although it was was a dark and stormy night, you showed up and sold out the house. Thanks for making our first Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival a success. We hope to put on another such event next year.
This event was a benefit for the California Heartland Project, the regional conservation vision of Habitat2020, the Conservation Committee of ECOS. The California Heartland Project seeks to create a connected network of parks, preserves, and conservation easements on working farms and ranches--creating access to open space for education and recreation, protecting the unique biological diversity found in the Sacramento Valley, and conserving our agricultural heritage.
